About Me

Katherine (Katie) Pittman is a student studying magazine journalism and Spanish at Ohio University. She is currently the editor-in-chief of Thread magazine, Ohio University's first and largest student-produced fashion magazine. She is also the deputy editor of Ohio Journalist, a magazine produced by the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and sent out to all OU journalism alumni. During summer 2018, Katie interned at O, The Oprah Magazine through the American Society of Magazine Editors. During her stent at O, she was able to write for both the print magazine and help with the OprahMag.com web launch by writing three pieces. In previous years, Katie served as Seams editor, writer, editorial assistant, and archivist for Thread and interned at CollegeFashionista as a style guru. 

When she isn't at work, Katie is usually planning her next adventure abroad or has her nose in a fashion magazine.
